Headstones

Headstones are the ultimate accurate records of a persons life, and sometimes their history.  Headstones always have the:

  • correct name spelling,

  • correct birthdate,

  • correct date of death,

  • location of burial.

Many headstones even list Spouse and Children's names; wedding date; and branch/rank of military service.  Validation of information and photos of the headstone are why personal visits to cemeteries are critical and paramount.

Looking at the head stones, names, dates, and quotations etched/carved on them, you also learn about the town and its people.  Headstones tell a story if you care to read and listen to it.  While cemeteries are often considered to be perpetual, their most prominent feature—the grave markers—are not. They weather, naturally decay, often are poorly maintained, and repaired and, on occasion, are vandalized.

MORE THAN JUST GPS

Photos taken by COMQUAD Drone include much more than just GPS location.  Shown below is a sample of data collected by the image tags, but in addition to this are the flight data and cell phone data linked to the headstone.
